:Brick and Masonry Tinting
Using a range of coloured pigments and a liquid solution, permanent colour can be applied to brick, grout and other masonry surfaces.  

Tinting can be required for a number of reasons, most commonly to even-out colour variation that occurs during the manufacturing process or bricks being used that are from different batch numbers.

Another common problem where tinting is invaluable is matching the brick of a new extension, for example, to the house where the original brick is no longer produced.

:Mortar and Grout Tinting
Nationwide Building Cosmetics (UK) Ltd., offers a range of tinting services. Tinting is often required when there is a lack of consistency to the coloured pigments added to the mortar.

Mortar Tinting
These pictures illustrate inconsistency of mortar colour through the brickwork. This was actually caused by a lack of pigment in the first delivery to the site. Our technicians tinted the affected area, eliminating the need for repointing.

Grout Tinting
The first picture on the left shows a tiled bathroom floor with grey grout. After the floor had been laid we were contacted as the customer decided they would prefer the grouting to be black. Our technicians tinted the grout and saved the expense of regrouting the area, which in turn may have damaged the tiles.

Paint or Glue Removal
Using specialised equipment and cleaning techniques our technicians are able to remove paint from brickwork and other surfaces. Precision tinting is then used to hide any residual staining.

Grime Removal
Using specialist chemicals and washing techniques our technicians can make weathered stone appear like new.

Cementitious Debris Removal
Many new-builds suffer cementitious debris on brickwork, mainly due to mortar splashes and scaffold marking. Our technicians are able to remove such marking and enhance the tone of the brickwork.
