We cover all trades, assisting individuals ranging from the commercial and industrial to investment landlords as well as the private householder. All are treated with the utmost efficiency and professionalism.
Our company has developed a dynamic team of individuals, most of whom have been with us from the start, stay locally, offer a personal and friendly service and are extremely professional in their chosen fields. We offer a wide and varied range of services from all types of brickwork, joinery work, electrical testing and installation to general maintenance including plumbing, gas heating installations and lighting.
Brickwork Every type of brickwork is undertaken. Specialising from foundation work, both domestic and commercial, to blocks of flats, new build houses, home extensions, garages, facing brick, block work etc. Commercial contracts of all sizes undertaken.
Joinery We offer an extensive range of joinery work for both domestic home refurbishments and commercial contracts. These include kitchen installations, home extensions, shop fitting etc.
Kitchens Kitchens are supplied from HOWDEN JOINERY Carluke, fitting by CTB Construction. All of these are planned to suit the individual requirements of the client, with colour drawings and a wide choice to choose from. Another option we employ is to simply refresh the look by fitting new doors.
Painting & Decorating As our clients include building contractors and privately owned companies, providing general painting and decorating services, both interior and exterior, as well as special purpose coatings is just another great service that we are able to offer.
Electrical Installation and Testing We carry out all types of electrical work, periodic inspection reports and PAT testing, along with all domestic installations. These range from mains wired smoke alarm systems, consumer units, all types of electrical heating, emergency lighting, domestic lighting etc. All electrical work is carried out by fully qualified engineers.
Plastering and Tiling We can supply and install all types of tiling, wall and floor. Full bathroom suits designed and fitted at reasonable prices. All types of plastering work carried out, from skimming walls, Ames taping, coving etc.
Plumbing And Heating Works include supply and installation of new bathroom suites, boiler upgrades, gas central heating systems, solar panels with solar cylinders. For non-gas properties we offer oil systems, renewable air to water heat pumps, ground source heat pumps and air recovery heat pumps. All our gas work and safety checks are carried out to the highest standard by our GAS SAFE registered engineers.
Shop Fitting We cover small refurbishments to major shop re-fits including supply and installation of suspended ceilings and slat walling, lighting, floor coverings, all joinery requirements and electrical installations.
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE For the property owner in the rental market we offer a property maintenance service to assist landlords and those too busy to deal with the maintenance of their properties, CTB Construction will be a contact for tenants who have any problems or questions regarding their rented accommodation. We will receive calls from tenants, inspect the problem and give you, the landlord, a full report of what the problem is and what action is required in order to rectify it.
We shall do a yearly maintenance inspection of your property free of charge. We shall also ensure that the gas safety certificate is up to date (where applicable) and any other building regulations are up to date and adhered to.
Normally, our landlords set a limit of around £150 below which matters can be dealt with without seeking prior approval. Anything above this limit would then require authorisation prior to work commencing. There is no charge for visiting the property to assess the problem and we will keep the landlord informed at all times.
