Jarvie Plant was formed in 1960 as a partnership and became a limited company in 1984. The company operates thoughout Central Scotland from seven depots; Grangemouth (Head Office), Glasgow, Cowdenbeath, Edinburgh, Irvine, Aberfeldy and Paisley.

There are three divisions within the company; Plant Hire , J.P. Rentals and Accommodation. The company has a formally documented quality management system with procedures, work instructions and clear lines of responsibility for all employees within the company.

All equipment is inspected prior to every hire and all maintenance records are kept for all fleet items.

Jarvie Plant Ltd is dedicated to providing quality plant and service to all our customers, by ensuring we meet customers' needs and expectations and by always keeping our promises.

J.P. Rentals, which also includes Sixt Rental Businesses, now has a dedicated team who understand and deliver outstanding service to many of the markets served by our other divisions.

Car Hire
We offer a wide selection of cars and people carriers to suit all budgets. When rented with our insurance, all vehicles are covered by a minimum of third party insurance.

Van & Pickups
We have a full range of light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 GVW. They are available for both business use or retail hire. We can offer insurance to retail customers only. Hirers must make themselves familiar with operator licence requirements.

Minibuses
We operate a fleet of 15 & seventeen seat buses fitted with digital tachographs.

These are available for business use only.
