DECONTAMINATION & DECOMISIONING DIVISION
The McGee Group has responsibly and successfully surveyed, removed, transported, stored and disposed of asbestos and other contaminates including excrement from animals for clients since the 1980’s. McGee’s experience ranges from industrial facilities and power stations, high rise offices and residential buildings, schools and hospitals, defence and other government establishments, breweries, pharmaceutical and food processing facilities as well as buildings for leisure and retail use.
McGee is licensed by the Health and Safety Executive for this work, is a member of the Asbestos Removal Contractors and is a UKAS accredited type C inspection body enabling the group to conduct type 1, 2 and 3 Asbestos Surveys.
Whether your facilities are contaminated with asbestos or other hazardous materials or have been contaminated by animals or as a by product of operations, McGee Group have the experience and resources to undertake the decontamination and deep cleaning required Prior to any decommissioning and removal of piping, cabling, ducting or other installations, plant and equipment which the division also undertakes. In the event that the building and or other infrastructure is to be demolished or deconstructed McGee would welcome the opportunity to submit a proposal for this and any other subsequent phases.

TRANSPORT, RECYCLING & WASTE MANAGMENT
In addition to the McGee reputation for mechanical plant, ownership and operation during demolition and construction operations the Group has a specialist division undertaking the transporting, recycling and disposal of all materials arising from demolition and construction.
The Group owns and operates an extensive fleet of vehicles of all specifications including its well recognised fleet of “McGee yellow tippers”. The operation and management of this fleet within London and other densely populated and traffic congested zones depends on extensive experience and understanding of the regulatory and environmental condition under which these operations have to be carried out to provide an efficient and predictable value added logistics service.
The Group is able to offer a comprehensive transportation, recycling and waste management service because it also owns and operates its own crushing and recycling facilities in Canning Town close to the City of London as well as its own tips for the disposal of inert and non hazardous spoil The group also have considerable experience in transporting and disposing of hazardous materials to specialist facilities.
